The problem now is that the roundabout regularly becomes overgrown, the Highways Agency only committed to cutting and pruning 5 times a year, which is clearly unsatisfactory. Hugh Wilson the town councillor with my support has doe some splendid work on moving this project forward, The responsibility for the roundabout will be taken over by the Town Council and maintenance will be provided by Littlehampton’s Town Council’s A Team and sponsorship will be sought with a number of possible sponsors being identified. Maintenance will be doubled and the landscaping completely remodelled to the betterment of Tourism and Business, as well as celebrating Civic pride in the official entrance to Arundel.
